President's Message
The Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona have a very clear mission: We seek to protect and enhance the wages, benefits, and working conditions for every future, active, and retired member of this organization.
Since our founding in 1967, the PFFA stands firm in our commitment to advocating and caring for our membership. The spirit of the PFFA is seen in every battle we fight and every life we touch, just as it was at our inception, when Arizona career firefighters had to leverage political action to drive systemic change.
We champion critical legislation, assist our members during times of crisis, support families facing cancer, trauma, or injury, provide assistance to Locals, and advocate at every level of government for a safer, stronger Arizona fire service. We believe in proactive leadership, information-sharing, and standing shoulder to shoulder with our Locals across Arizona. Our endeavors to serve our membership are often hard-fought, but we remain steadfast in our commitment to our membership.
At our core, the PFFA is a family – a family committed to serving one another with honor, courage, and unity. The work we do today builds a better future for every generation of firefighters who will answer the call tomorrow.
